Welcome to my photography world. Here, I get a chance to share a few of some of my projects. My hope is to eventually become a visual therapy and appeal to all my fans' artistic cravings. I look forward to a mutual interaction with you all and it is my hope that this platform would serve as a place where you can also relax and enjoy the beauty that photography brings to the soul. My best regards and I hope you enjoy the experience.

Celebrating My Heritage!

As I get ready to celebrate with my Bakossi family this weekend at our year end  party, I thought it was just so right that my next post showcase my tradition. I proudly present to you all Chief Theordore Esong. Chief Esong is the Chief of a village called Ngomin in Bangem Kupe-Muanenguba Sub-Division in the South West Province of Cameroon; West Africa. A part of me many may not know is that I hold my tradition with the upmost pride and respect. Through photography, I always strive to capture it at every opportuned moment, especially during my engagement sessions. As a New Year gift, I had contacted my Chief several months ago to ask if I can be privilege to take his picture. Once he agreed, I immediately arranged for a special chair, only suitable for a Chief. Thanks Evelyn for helping with the chair – it came out just fantastic.

I just delivered a large framed portrait last week to his home just in time for Christmas. What he said to me… well lets just say I received his Royal Blessings.

Thanks Chief for this gracious  opportunity.

The first portrait below was the selection that went in the frame.

The “red” cap is very symbolic and can ONLY be worn by the Chief and the very notables or ‘Nobles’ of the village called “Nhons”.
